About Me

  • Expertise in geochemical analyses: proficient in geochemical analyses of soils and sediments, including carbon (organic and inorganic), oxygen and deuterium stable isotope analysis, clumped isotope analysis, X-ray Diffraction and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) analysis, mercury analysis, with an aim to reconstruct past climates and the understand the response of Earth system processes to climate change.
  • Field and laboratory experience: field work oriented approach to collect the required samples for geochemical laboratory analyses and to obtain grain size distribution and flow depth estimates required for paleohydraulic reconstructions. Extensive experience in planning and leading field campaigns followed by sample preparation and analysis.
  • Teaching and research outreach: providing student supervision and guidance, including assessments of exercises and preparing coursework. I also aim to publish any research output in high quality peer-reviewed journals including regularly presenting results at national and international conferences.
  • Collaboration and communication: I strongly value collaboration across multiple research groups, both locally and internationally, to carry out multi-disciplinary science.
